From the press release: Yang is a Chinese freelance artist, currently is living and working in Peoria, Illinois.
Yang began exploring camera-less experimental photography in 2017. Her interest in experimental forms of photography was inspired by a life-size maternity photogram of her in 2015—an image made by her husband and artist Qingjun Huang. Project 1612 exhibitions are organized by co-founders Jessica Bingham and Alexander Martin. The 2024 residencies and exhibitions are sponsored by Big Picture Initiative.
